Cave diving and research of Ombla source and accumulation Orašac

On February 23rd and 24th, HYLA research team visited the Ombla river spring and Orašac accumulation (Bosnia spring). The goal of the research was to confirm the finding of Delminichthys ghetaldii (a species of ray-finned fish in the Cyprinidae family), which was successfully accomplished for the Ombla source. Eleven specimens were counted in Ulazna kaverna. In other parts of the system due to high water level it was not possible to make the dive, resulting in continuation of the research in spring. Delminichthys ghetaldii was not found in Orašac accumulation; however, other species were recorded.
